Skål Izmir President Aydın Tokbaş made evaluations regarding the price debates in Çeşme. Tokbaş stated that beach clubs have become an important part of tourism today and that people prefer to spend time in environments suitable for their own social status.
Emphasizing that vacation habits have changed due to economic conditions, Tokbaş said that Izmir residents mostly chose day trips during the 9-day holiday period.
